Join Fangs and Feathers on a three-night nocturnal mammal adventure into in the Northern Cape Province of Southern Africa to search for the highly sought-after Black-footed Cat and other amazing mammals. This tour is the perfect extension to a Kgalagadi Wildlife Adventure due to their relatively close proximity to one another.
We will be based at Marrick Game Farm and Mokala National Park where we focus on finding the deadliest cat of them all, the diminutive Black-footed Cat (Small-spotted Cat) Other secretive species we search for on our night drives include Aardvark and Aardwolf, both difficult species to cross paths with in the wilds.
Rare large game such as the massive White Rhino, Sable and Roan Antelope are easily seen on this unique mini-safari. The birds are diverse and we will see species, which are typical of the semi-arid Kalahari and Karoo biomes.
Accommodation is comfortable three star style and fully serviced. Our meals are a combination of self and fully catered for. This tour starts and ends in Kimberly or Upington (South Africa) both are serviced by daily flights from major South African cities, such as Johannesburg and Cape Town.
